A historic town and a harbour on the Adriatic coast with close proximity to Split. This must be one of the most interesting and well kept towns across the Split-Dalmatia coast. This historic city is on a very small island wedged between another island and Croatian mainland. Seems like this small historic city depends highly on tourism as a source of income. There are a few things to see which include the historical city centre, the city gates, the Kamerlengo Fortress, the Cathedral and a collection of churches and buildings from as late as the 13th century.
Trogir can be reached by car, bus or even boat from Split. Highly recommend dropping here for a day during a stay in Split. Stay tuned for more albums across Croatia over the next few weeks.
