Campania

Say what you want about Campania, but if you want authentic Italian food then this is the place to be. Campania is a region in southern Italy and is the second largest populated region in the country. Not only is it rich in gastronomy but also in architecture, history, music and a lot of archaeological sites such as Pompeii and Herculaneum. It was colonised early on by the Greeks and maintained a Roman Greek culture in years to follow.

The natural beauty of this area makes it one of the most important for the Italian tourism industry. The Amalfi Coast, Mount Vesuvius and Capri island are some of the most impressive and highly important must see areas. In this album there will be some photos from Campania’s capital, Naples, along with photos taken from Mount Vesuvius and others along the Amalfi Coast. Pompeii, Capri and Naples itself have been covered in previous albums and will be featured again in new ones later on this year.
