Porto is the second largest city in Portugal after Lisbon. Home to the internationally famous port wine and a city centre which was registered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1996 for being one of the oldest European centres. A city with great beauty and beautiful scenery, Porto is a must see on a visit to Portugal. Contrary to the saying “Porto works while Lisbon plays”, Porto still has a lot to offer when it comes to night life and playing.
