In the outskirts of the Hungarian capital, Budapest lies the Statue Park. This proved to be one of the popular places to visit for tourists that come across to Budapest from all over the world. Memento Park is not about Communism itself, but the fall of Communism! I won’t talk much about this, the photos should give you an idea of what to expect should you decide to waste half a day heading there. Basically if you are in Budapest and have half a day to waste, you can take a bus ride to this park to see the gigantic monuments from the age of Communism.
